The gulf in class was apparent in Port of Spain as Toluca battered Caledonia AIA to maintain a 100% record in this year’s Champions League and cruise through to the next stage. Played at virtual walking pace, Toluca made light work of their opponents. First half goals from Raul Nava, an own goal from Nuru Muhammed and a close range finish from Edy Brambila gave them a comfortable lead at the break. Despite Caledonia getting a goal back just after half time through Kithson Bain, Toluca went on to win comfortably when Nava added his second and Sinha curled a shot in from the edge of the box.
