Mexico into the Semi Finals after beating Brazil

Current holders, Mexico kept their hopes of retaining the crown alive with a dramatic 11-10 penalty win against Brasil earlier in the Under 17 World Cup. The 90 minutes proved an edgy affair with not many chances and so when Mexico took the lead through Ochoa’s close range finish it appeared that El Tri may knock out, favourites, Brazil. However, 5 minutes later, Brazil were level through Nathan and the game ended going to penalties. After both sides missed one of their initial 5 the drama continued until all 11 players had stepped up. Finally, as Brazil started the second round of penalties, Mexican goalkeeper, Raul Gudiño guessed correctly to leave Alejandro Diaz to tuck away the 11th kick and book a place in the Semi Final. Mexico will face the winner of Argentina and Ivory Coast. SEE THE GOALS AND THE SHOOTOUT….
