Club America were slightly out of sorts, perhaps feeling the effects of the New Zealand World Cup playoff match but managed to leave Nuevo Leon with a valuable draw. Tigres led through goals from Alan Pulido and Guido Pizarro but with minutes remaining, Aquivaldo Mosquera managed to divert a deep cross into the net. The 2-2 draw away definitely gives America the advantage ahead of the secong leg in the Azteca. Queretaro were on the verge of elimination after going three down to Santos at home but two goals from Isaac Romo in the final 10 minutes keep their hopes alive. Colombian, Darwin Quintero scored two superb goals to give Santos the lead and when he set up Alonso Escoboza for the third, the tie looked dead. Santos remain favourites but those two goals could be crucial. WATCH ALL THE ACTION….
