Reports in Spain are suggesting that Barcelona are looking to bring in México goalkeeper, Guillermo ‘Memo’ Ochoa to replace José Manuel Pinto as backup to their other recent acquisition, Marc-André Ter Stegen.
Ochoa is a free agent since leaving French side, Ajaccio and would be a very useful reserve for Barcelona. For the Catalan club it would also represent a decent marketing opportunity in the large Mexican market.
This is by no means a done deal as Barca remain keen on Chilean, Claudio Bravo of Real Sociedad but Ochoa is another option open to the Catalan giants.
However, if Ochoa would be going just as a reserve then he might be advised to look at the likes of Chicharito who has found himself fall down the pecking order on the international scene as he has struggled to get minutes for Manchester United.
