Barcelona thrash León as Suarez debuts and Márquez says goodbye (VIDEO)

Barcelona's Alba and Busquets celebrates Neymar's goal against Mexico's club Leon goalkeeper Yarbrough during their Joan Gamper Trophy soccer match at Nou Camp stadium in Barcelona

Barcelona cruised to a final pre-La Liga victory over Liga MX champions, León in the Camp Nou (the mexican one) last night. The game itself was never a contest with Lionel Messi heading Barca in front after just a couple of minutes and then Neymar running riot. The Brazilian added two excellent goals before the break and the game was over. Youngsters, Munir El Haddari (2) and Sandro Ramirez added three more in the second half to complete an easy night’s work for Luis Enrique’s side. The match will be better remembered for the debut of Uruguayan, Luis Suarez despite his competitive ban and the final farewell of Mexican legend, Rafa Márquez who gave what will surely be his final León performance after his transfer to Italy.

León  0 – 6  Barcelona
